anyway, saturday and sunday were really eventful days =D

saturday, we had POP. went to pasir ris mrt at about 9am and ate with ida, maryam and syahirah at Mcdonalds'. aishah didn't come early because she was collecting satay from her uncle.

then we took a taxi to pasir ris park. saw some horses there and we horsed around with them XD especially maryam.

rented bikes, and the initial plan was that maryam and i were to ride a single bike each, and ida and syahirah a double-seat bike, because ida can't cycle.

but then the uncle said he needed someone to 'balance' and syahirah was too small.

so guess who they picked. =.=

in the end, syahirah rode my single bike and i had to ride with ida. it was quite fun actually =D

then later we barbequed chicken, satays (when aishah reached) and baked potatoes.we were overall, very prepared, so it was quite disappointing when only a few maams came.

on top of that, i had to leave early cos i had a family gathering. so we had to make last-minute changes because i was supposed to be the emcee.

when i had to leave, maam bahiah gave me a hug and a postcard saying all those optimistic things. awww.

and cambodia really did help make some of us bonded. i was quite awkward still with some of my squadmates, but i'm fine with them now.

afifah, for instance, who used to intimidate me, does nothing but amuses me now. first impressions don't last. one look at her and you'd think she's a frikin minah bimbo and you'd roll your eyes at her, but as you get to know her more she's really very cute. i swear. almost everything she says amuses me nowadays =D they're sexual and (genuinely) bimbo. which is really reallyyyyy cute XD

and she loves aishah too. HAHA AISHAH.

so that was POP. i left before we had the sec 3 item. turns out, according to aishah, that we didn't have an item after all. i was guilty cos i thought it was my fault but turns out there was no time and they had to clean up and finish up the food by 9pm. woooooooow.

i was at the hotel by that time. conrad hotel, to be exact. mum won voucher for a free stay for a night there. the hotel rocks! it's so comfortable and they even have a pillow menu. i couldn't be bothered to go swimming cos i didn't want to wash my hair. haha.

that night we ate at fish and co at suntec city. next morning which was yesterday, we ate at secret recipe. the lasagne is beautiful :O so was the tom yum spagetti, but it was too spicy and hot and made me make weird noises to get some water.

then we went home and sent our kitten, snowball, to the vet. he fell off the stairs with a loud 'plop' one day and was limping.

waited for a very very long time till it was his turn. further inspection by the vet shows that he has other problems-ringworm(fungus), lice and ear mites- besides the limp in his leg. then after an x-ray the vet explained that he didn't break a bone, but his joint got sort of.. disconnected o_o poor little thang.

then we went to a shop selling things for the pets beside the pet clinic, and my mother had a long conversation with the petshop owner, who said that she hates the pet clinic to the core because they killed four of her cats. she sent three for vaccination, and all were in perfect health. all died in the end because of their carelessness.

and the fourth one, i find this one the most gory and pitiful : she sent her cat to the clinic for dental cleaning, and they cleaned very rougly.

so what happened then, was that the cat bled and bled and bled and she demanded to know why her cat was bleeding when all she asked them to do was to clean its teeth. they said they didn't know.

she sent her cat to a clinic somewhere else, and they said that something had penetrated its palette (probably the cleaning tool) and caused a blot clot all the way to its brain. the cat bled to death later.

geez, if i were her i'd sue them. i swear. that's so careless and stupid and inhumane. she told us other horrifying stories about the cruelty of some vets. i don't think i want to say here. i'd tell you if you asked me. i didn't catch every single thing she said, but i can remember some.

then we went home after buying some cakes and very VERY nice ice cream from the shop 'awfully chocolate'.

i thought my long day would end there, but it didn't.

we still had to go to a relative's house because he and his wife would be going to mekah for pilgrimage this friday. you know,i hate it when my brothers act all prim and proper in people's houses and leave me looking like a freaking shameless idiot.stupid idiots.

ate at a shop near my house, went home, and that was the end of yesterday.

now, i have to get ready to go to parkway parade to get my mother a present for her birthday (6/12). tata!
